Brazil's CVM has detailed the changes it plans to make to regulations governing FIDC structured finance transactions, a move which bankers and investors see reviving the asset class. Concern about conflict of interest in transactions in which the originator and custodian (servicer) of the credit receivables being securitized are the same institution - as well as uncertainty about what action regulators would take - has led to delays in closing deals...
