Banistmo's Big Aspirations

Primer Banco del Istmo, the largest private-sector bank in Panama, is well on it way to becoming a top bank in the region. Banistmo already has completed sizable acquisitions in Costa Rica, Honduras and Panama. Now it is aiming for a 10% market share in the Dominican Republic and El Salvador.
