Corporate executives tell us who they think are the best players in Brazil's financial services market.

It is relatively easy to identify Brazil's biggest banks, its most active investment banks or those fund managers with the most assets under management. Many publications, including LatinFinance, routinely track such rankings. However, it is important to look beyond mere size to determine which players in the financial markets deliver the best services to their clients.

Earlier this year, we launched our first opinion poll of senior executives to identify the best financial institutions, consultancies and financial law firms in Brazil. The views of top management within Brazilian companies matter a great deal since these are the people who hire and evaluate banks to underwrite their securities, revamp their management structures or keep them on the right side of the law.
